Lode Holding has been nominated for the Koning Willem I prize! A prize that is awarded every two years to companies in the SME and large companies categories. An ultimate award for good entrepreneurship of companies that perform, innovate but above all create with guts and passion, to make the world a bit better. We are of course very proud to announce this!
No nomination without employees
The nomination would of course never have been possible without the daily commitment of our employees. We are not only proud of our nomination but also very happy with the people who do their best every day and contribute to make the world a bit healthier.
Lode Holding is located in Groningen and parent company of Lode, ProCare, aXtion and Umaco. Four companies, each focused on exercise in their own way. Lode has been developing and selling accurate medical and sports medicine products for more than 70 years. ProCare specializes in selling equipment aimed at measuring people, aXtion develops various IT solutions within the healthcare sector and Umaco is an innovator in the field of life sciences. All in all, we have been a leading partner in this field for more than 70 years. Our common goal? Contribute to medical technology, healthcare and a healthy living environment, while being a reliable partner.
Presentation of the King Willem I prize
Lode Holding is one of the twelve excellent companies that have been nominated. The companies competing for the prize come from all regions of the Netherlands and have previously been selected by regional committees consisting of experts and entrepreneurs. Performance in the field of daring, decisiveness, sustainability, perseverance and good entrepreneurship were decisive for the nomination.
The prizes will again be awarded in 2020 by Honorary President Her Majesty Queen Máxima and Prof. Dr. K.H.W. Knot, president of De Nederlandsche Bank N.V. and chairman of the Koning Willem I Foundation. These independent company awards are actively supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs & Climate and the Ministry of Infrastructure & Water Management. The final winner will be announced in mid-May this year.
